Meet YellowThreadd

Vega is a 22 year old artist from Manchester UK. She makes weird, quirky and kitsch jewelry, accessories and embroidery.

Vega started making things when she was 14, but Yellow Threadd was born just over a year ago.

Vega is inspired by the odd and quirky stuff she finds. Her favorite thing she has made is the fried chicken necklace. But she loves repurposing old vintage toys and trinkets into jewelry.

“I love making earrings and jewelry because literally anyone can wear them and it’s a great way to put a fun spin on any outfit!” says the artist.

Her future plans are to grow Yellow Threadd and hopefully stock her stuff in some independent shops.

Vega was featured in her first art show this year in Manchester at the Manchester Open exhibition.
